Sens. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) Feb. 23 introduced comprehensive tax reform legislation (S. 3018) with provisions consolidating tax brackets for individuals and businesses while at the same time lowering federal tax obligations, in part through a single, flat 24 percent corporate rate.
