Senate Committee Backs ‘Cleanfields’ Bill to Establish Grants for Renewables Projects

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works cleared legislation (S. 3374) May 20 that would establish a grant program to encourage production of electricity from renewable energy sources on brownfield sites.
