Senate Rejects Bid to Halt EPA Greenhouse Gas Rules, Defeating Murkowski Resolution in Close Vote

The Senate June 10 voted 53–47 to reject a resolution (S.J. Res. 26) to block Environmental Protection Agency regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

Six Democrats joined all of the Republicans in supporting the measure.
